One standout feature is the barista's commitment to building a specialty coffee culture, as shared by David Istrate. This personal touch, combined with a warm and inviting atmosphere, enhances the overall experience. While some patrons, like Anca Tataru, noted the darker roast might not suit everyone's tastes, the array of snacks—though lacking gluten-free options—still entices with sweets like coco bars.
Overall, Uni4 offers not just quality coffee but a cozy space where customers can enjoy both traditional Greek coffee and innovative brews, making it a must-visit spot for coffee lovers. It’s a true gem for those seeking a rich coffee experience intertwined with heartfelt service.

Reviews for Uni4 specialty coffee
Review highlights
Based on 66 reviewsUni4 specialty coffee in Zakynthos is widely recognized for its exceptional quality and diverse coffee offerings, including a broad selection of coffee beans sourced from various countries and multiple brewing methods such as V60 and espresso tonic. The shop is praised for delivering a premium specialty coffee experience that stands out on the island, complemented by a range of sweets and snacks. Customers appreciate the inviting atmosphere and friendly service, highlighting the owner’s dedication to fostering a specialty coffee culture locally. Some feedback notes a preference for lighter roast options, and there is limited availability of gluten-free snacks, which may be an area for improvement.
Best coffee ever! Huge selection! And desserts as well
The only specialty caffeteria in Zakynthos. Coffee that you can drink in this place or take home (as grains) is amazing. Way much much better than in other places that I could find on this island. There is big selection of grains from many countries and also many brewing methods. I tried v60, espresso tonic and canned cold brew. All were top notch.
The coffe was good but a bit to dark roasted forf me. I'm more of a medium roast fan, so that I can feel the flavour lingering in my mouth after I finish the coffee. They have a wide array of snacks and protein bars, but unfortunately non of them gluten free (although you can't see that from reading the ingredients, but the barista told me)
Very good and pleasure place. It is worth to be there. Both tasty speciality and greek coffee. Also delicious sweets like coco bars and more. Very nice owner or whoever work here. European level and high quality. Greetings!
Forgot our paper filters for the aeropress in Cluj so we went to search at the only specialty coffee shop we found in Zakynthos. It was a very pleasant experience, we found Denis (the owner) who was very friendly and he told us the story of the shop and how he is trying to built slowly a specialty coffee culture in the island. We had 2 espresso tonic which were delicious and also 2 espressos which were amazing. Really good quality. Also they have some pastry, water, juice, cans of cold brew so a diverse menu. We really liked the spot.
We love our coffee and tried numerous cafes and found Uni4 to be best. Clean, light taste from Hand Pickers. They really know their stuff. The inconspicuous cafe is situated on edge of the town and near a big My Market supermarket (which made it convenient for us) It has a clean modern industrial decor theme and seating inside and out although there's nothing special about the view outside. But if want a really good coffee, it worth a visit.
The best coffee we had in Zante, big choice of desserts and sandwiches, everything was tasty
Great coffee, think they might even serve matcha as they had a matcha whisk displayed!
